Hey. It’s me again. I’m going to be going on holiday from Thursday (that’s the 10th July) for two weeks or so. I hope to be able to blog while there, and I’ll have some stuff scheduled, but I don’t know about the connection so sorry if I don’t reply to your comments! 🙂 Are you doing anything for the holidays? Let me know. I like to chat. xx
Even as you read this, I’ll probably be getting on a coach in the wee hours of the morning, as virtually every school trip starts.
I’m going on an adventure/teamwork/fun school trio for four days, leaving June 15th (Sunday) and arriving back late on the 18th (Wednesday). I don’t think I’ll be able to post while there but I’ll have loads of stuff to write about when I come back!
I’ve been spending the last week or so of my half term holiday revising for exams. It’s not fun. Anyway, the exams are in this coming week so I wanted to let you guys know that I might not be as active as usual for this reason.
Despite all of that doom and gloom, school does finish a little early on some days so you ever know, I might be able to get down some stuff. That’s what I’m hoping, anyway!
How about you? Do you have any exams coming up, or have you been doing any? If not, what are your experiences of exams? I hope you all have an amazing start to June – we’re halfway through the year, ahh!
I just wanted to give you guys a shout out that I probably won’t be able to write my usual weekend post as I’m going away for the bank holiday weekend (well, it might not be bank holiday for some of you!). However, despite this piece of not very happy news, I am attending Celaena’a Throne of Glass birthday party (as you may have seen on the blog button right at the side) on Saturday and I am SUPER SUPER SUPER EXCITED!! I am in love with Throne of Glass at the moment – not just the book but the characters. They are fantastic. They live inside my head.
Anyway, I also have exams coming up in the near-ish future (GAH) so that might decrease my internet presence a bit more as well. And that is all for now.
I got soaked on the way back home because I left my umbrella at school. Is it raining where you are? If it’s nice weather, then I’m very jealous. You should come to the UK for a while and experience our lovely weather patterns (not).
This may not be the finest piece of writing in the world, but I guess I just wanted to put across an idea. It’s actually part of a longer story but the longer story doesn’t work that well (plus, it was pretty long) so I just decided to give you this to read. Fear not; I am completing my first ever award, which I am getting too excited about. Anyhow, I hope you had a fun St. Patrick’s Day if you celebrated it! Otherwise, I’m hoping you all are having an awesome March. Spring, here we come!
I am inside the glass box again. It presses in on me from every direction. It even presses into my thoughts, more and more and more until –
I shut my eyes. I see flickering patterns of light for a while, but then the darkness fades away into a different scene. I see white. I see a house. This is how it works here.
I’m sure I would be correct in assuming that you are still living a life of normality, of friends and gossip and food and internet and TV. Am I right? I knew it. I used to live like that. Then, one day, BAM, I wake up in a glass box instead of my bed. Just like that, my whole world was changed: just a careless dismissal of the hand, a distracted roll of the dice. Destroyed. The only thing I can see with my eyes open is my own glass box, and the never ending white. But with my eyes shut? Well, that is a different story altogether.
I hope you all had a merry Christmas! I haven’t really had much time to post, although I have two in the making, which I hope to put up soon (with luck, later today). I figured that a bad, half-finished post was just as worse as not posting it at all.
Yes. So, this post was basically to give you a heads-up that I have not disappeared off the face of the earth. I’ve only been caught up in the flow of relations that fill our house every December. And, in truth, I’ve been very excited by all the sales, presents, parties and so on.
I’ve missed blogging so much, and I’ll try and be more diligent in future! I hope you have a fantastic new year,
